Terms of Service

Last updated April 18, 2026

The terms that govern your use of OnWealth's website, content, calculators, newsletters, and related digital services.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of onwealth.net and any related digital property that links to these Terms (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

These Terms are between you and OnWealth Media, LLC ("OnWealth," "we," "us," or "our").

1. What OnWealth Provides

OnWealth is an educational publishing site focused on personal finance and related financial-planning topics. The Services may include articles, glossary terms, guides, tools, newsletters, podcasts, and other site features intended to provide general information and educational content.

Ordinary use of the Services is consumer-facing publishing, not individualized professional services. More detail about that baseline boundary is available in our General Disclaimer.

The Services are for general informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on the Services should be treated as personalized financial, investment, tax, legal, accounting, insurance, or other professional advice. You should evaluate any decision in light of your own circumstances and, where appropriate, consult a qualified professional before acting.

Nothing on the Services should be treated as a recommendation for you personally to buy, sell, hold, convert, refinance, insure, consolidate, or otherwise choose a particular strategy, account, security, provider, or debt solution.

3. No Advisory, Fiduciary, or Professional Relationship

Use of a calculator, article, glossary term, guide, newsletter, or other site feature does not create an adviser-client, fiduciary, attorney-client, accountant-client, insurance-producer-client, or other professional relationship between you and OnWealth.

If an author, contributor, or affiliated person holds professional credentials elsewhere, those credentials do not by themselves make OnWealth content personalized advice to you. A professional relationship exists only if you separately enter into a direct written engagement with the relevant provider outside ordinary use of the Services.

4. Accuracy and Timeliness

We aim to make the Services useful and accurate, but we do not guarantee that content will always be complete, current, or error-free. Financial products, market conditions, tax rules, rates, eligibility requirements, and provider terms can change over time. You are responsible for confirming current details before relying on third-party offers, product terms, or time-sensitive information.

5. Your Use of the Services

You agree to use the Services lawfully and in a way that does not interfere with site operations or other users. You may not:

  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, accounts, servers, or related systems
  • use automated means to scrape, harvest, or copy the Services at scale without our permission
  • upload, transmit, or otherwise introduce malicious code or harmful content
  • use the Services in a way that violates law, infringes rights, or misrepresents your identity or affiliation

6. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise noted, the Services and their content, including text, graphics, branding, site design, and original editorial materials, are owned by OnWealth or used under license and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of any intellectual-property rights to you.

You may view and use the Services for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit material from the Services except as allowed by law or with our written permission.

The Services may include links to third-party websites, products, tools, or services. Some of those links may be affiliate links. OnWealth may receive compensation if you click a qualifying affiliate link and later take a specified action. Our affiliate practices are described in our Affiliate Disclosure.

Third-party websites and services operate under their own terms, privacy policies, and practices. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, availability, policies, or transactions you may enter into with them.

8. Calculators and Planning Tools

Any calculators, worksheets, comparison tools, or estimated outputs on the Services are illustrative only. They depend on assumptions, user inputs, and simplified modeling choices. Calculator results are not guarantees, predictions, approvals, or personalized recommendations, and they should not be treated as a substitute for individualized advice.

9. Newsletters, Forms, and Communications

If you choose to subscribe to a newsletter, submit a form, or otherwise contact us, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep it reasonably current where relevant. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails through the unsubscribe link included in those messages.

Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Availability and Changes

We may update, suspend, remove, or change any part of the Services at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable if all or part of the Services are unavailable for any period of time.

We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we do, the revised version will be posted here and reflected by the page's last-updated timestamp. Your continued use of the Services after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, OnWealth disclaims warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OnWealth and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising out of or related to your use of the Services.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, if OnWealth is found liable for any claim arising out of or related to the Services, our total liability will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100).

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OnWealth and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to your misuse of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law or another party's rights.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent applicable federal law requires otherwise.
